It is easy to change the feel of a room with decor. If you are looking to swap out your old, heavy, dark decor to lighten and brighten your space, I would love to help. The process is seamless and easy because I do the research and the shopping and you sit back and enjoy your new room!

This is an example of a room that I designed for a client. This board is a working document where I cut and paste, link items and collaborate with the clients in order to get the perfect feel for a space. I add paint color options as well as furniture and decor pieces. Once the items are approved for purchase, I will order or shop, build, hang, paint and stage the room appropriately.

Here is another example of a board that I created. The adjacent picture is what the room looks like now. You can see how the pieces in the board are mirrored within the room and the price tags are still on (just in case the client isn’t happy with the item, it’s easy for me to return!)

It’s hard to believe that this room used to be painted a deep taupe with cherry furniture, heavy lights and a dark couch. We kept the sentimental picture wall and created a calm, transitional and refreshing space that the clients love!

“We highly recommend Gina! She is professional, creative, hard working, honest, kind, and incredibly talented. She brought our vision to life as I struggled for years on how to best utilize an awkward kitchen space as well as extra dining room space. She shared ideas and created such a cozy space that we use daily for puzzles, meals, and board game nights. We also used our extra dining space for storage and a coffee and tea bar and as well as beverage cooler. Gina utilizes all space so it not only functional but also warm and cozy.

Transforming spaces: Before and after
Before: The empty nook in this dining room was a perfect spot for dark shiplap and a built in bar.
After: We installed the shiplap, shelves, cabinets for extra storage, the drink fridge and the new butcher block countertop. Move aside empty nook- we’ve got functional living to do!
Before: The garage needed an organization system as well as some functional storage.
After: Since the client was in need of a mudroom, we built and installed the custom bench and shoe storage in the garage. We added the slat walls for increased organization and function.
Before: The client hated the cookie cutter look of the mantle and felt the room needed a lift.
After: We built a custom mantle to fit over her existing mantle and created a beautiful new focal point. We added the board and batten to brighten the room and anchor the dining space.

Before: The old kitchen was dark and dated. It was time to remove the cabinets, backsplash and light fixtures.
After: We were able to rearrange just enough to add a tall pantry to the left of the refrigerator. Hello storage! The gold fixtures and hardware with the white and wood grain cabinets create a modern organic feel that is oh-so good!
Before: This entryway felt underutilized and bland.
After: I worked with the client to pick the beautiful artwork for the walls and added the bench, pillows, light, mirrors and plants for texture. Hello entryway!
